hi, im playing GW for 1 year, and i cant still decide what profession fits me the best.I have R/W lvl 18 and it bored me,i have W/Mo lvl 11 also bored me.
I like middle line,but i only have prophecies.What profession do you recommend me??

We have no way of telling what will or will not bore you, so we can only recommend professions that don't bore US. All professions appeal to one or another of us, so obviously you're going to hear recommendations for every single one of them in a thread like this. Somehow I don't think that will help you.

If the two martial professions bore you, then the caster professions are the only ones left. Why not test all of them to see if one appeals to you? Just roll a character of one caster profession, play it for a few levels to get the feel, delete it, then rinse and repeat for the other professions.

Ranger is the only one of the six core professions really suited to mid-line. However, an earth ele has sufficient defense available to manage a mid-line role, if that's your desire. Perhaps ele would be a good place for you to start experimenting, though you will have to play well beyond Pre-Searing before you can make a passable earth build.

We can't really advise you b/c you haven't even really started. Reaching 20lvl is a tutorial bit and I wonder how is it possible to not have at least one 20lvl after a year of gameplay. Do you have all campaigns?

No, i dont have all campains, and i stoped playing GW for 2-3 months.

BTW: I'm asking what middle line profession you recommend me??

So tell us what campaigns you have, b/c it's pretty important.

Right here my recommendation.

GO ELEMENTALIST!

3 reason.

1: New update making ele's even better in pve.
2: Original Terra's for speedclear. (only doable if you have all campaigns or skill packs)
3: They can output major damage as Nuker's.

I have all campaigns and all professions now except warrior. (they still suck)
Rangers: Get really good later on in the game. (especially when speedclearing)
Warriors: well let's drop that one.
Ele's: Good damage output, good role all around.
Necro: Minion master ftw. (heroes are always better at this.)
Monk: Good, but can get boring. (fun to have ateam of 7 heroes and go pve. see much aggo you can pull and keep your team alive.)
Mesmer: very fun to play, can be both front, mid and backliner.

That's my 2 cents, and i got this experience cus i've been in your shoes.
I tried warrior first, then had a ranger. both didn't like. made an ele and got happy.

You're welcome.
You chose war and ranger so I suppose you like psychicals and you said you want a midline. Paragon is perfect for you, para can be a midliner as well as backliner. But you'd need NF for that.

You can change your secondary prof in very early part of game, so it doesn't matter, but I'd start with mesmer.

Actually, as they only have prophecies, the ability to change secondaries comes quite late compared to the other two campaigns. That being said I would definitely second the choice of mesmer in the beginning.
